15+ YEARS in BUSINESS PROCESS OUTSOURCING (BPO)
There are lots of advantages of having someone who has seen the ins and outs, ups and downs of the BPO industry, seeing different methods and ideas in different perspectives. The hiring process way back in the Philippines is strenuous, tedious while some offer months of extensive training. The goal was to perfect communication, need to be in college and be well-versed in the use of computers.
The slow start made me determined and the moment I stepped my foot in the building of my first contact center in the US, I immediately became a shark the way I starved for growth. I look at job titles as ladders and sometimes you have to step back down to regain balance then climb back up again.
I have conducted trainings in classroom settings from new-hire training to up-skill training for managers and fellow trainers. Due to COVID now virtually/ over-the-phone for individual and small to mid-sized groups.
Project management is vital in each project. The intricacy on each angle is perplexing. We have to have full understanding of the objective, the tasks, and most importantly the skillset of each individual involved in that group. Like I mentioned, different perspectives. I analyze tasks as to someone in frontline, lead, management, and as the owner of the company; if it sinks, I drown too.
